The meeting will be open to the press and public subject to the passing of any resolution under s.100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972.

(1) To approve as a correct record the Minutes of the special meeting of the Authority held on 20 May 2004 (copy attached).
(2) To consider any Matters Arising from the Minutes of the Authority’s meetings held on 27 April 2004 (the Minutes from that meeting were previously circulated for confirmation at the special meeting on 20 May 2004) and 20 May 2004.

9. Appointment of Committees
• Planning Committee
To appoint the Planning Committee, which Standing Orders specify shall comprise all Members of the Authority, save that new members must undergo a programme of training in the planning system before being appointed (NB. Mr Moore has chosen not to be a member of the Committee).

• Resources Committee
To appoint the Resources Committee, which under Standing Orders shall comprise 11 Members of the Authority, made up as follows (* denotes Members for 2003/04): -

To appoint two Members to serve on the statutory independent Exmoor Local Access Forum, which is administered by the Authority
For 2003/04, the two Members were: Mr W J Dyke and Mr J C Edwards
