The meeting will be open to the press and public subject to the passing of any resolution under s.100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972.

9. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
The Chairman will move: -
“That the Exmoor National Park Authority send a message of congratulations and best wishes to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II upon the occasion of her Golden Jubilee”.
10. Appointment of the Planning Committee
To appoint the Planning Committee, which Standing Orders specify shall comprise all Members of the Authority, save that new members must undergo a programme of training in the planning system before being appointed.
11. Appointment of the Resources Committee
To appoint the Resources Committee, which under Standing Orders shall comprise 11 Members of the Authority, made up as follows (* denotes Members for 2001/02): -

12. Appointment of the Standards Committee
To appoint the Standards Committee which, as agreed by Minute 37 (4 September 2001), shall comprise three Members of the Authority and one Independent Member. Its membership shall include both local authority Members of the Authority and at least one Member appointed to the Authority by the Secretary of State. Members holding executive positions on the Authority are excluded from membership:

16. ANPA Member Induction Course
To consider whether to send members most recently appointed to the Authority to a Member Induction Course, organised by ANPA, being held at Losehill Hall, Peak District National Park from 24-26 July 2002 (copy of the draft programme attached – Paper B (PDF, 203kb)).
