Info: Be part of a team surveying and monitoring the bees, butterflies and wildflowers of Wimbleball Lake

Hours: Flexible. Ideally you would be able to work as part of a team, either one day every week or one day every other week.

Help monitor the bumblebees, butterflies & wildflowers present in the nature reserve, wildflower meadow and orchard at Wimbleball Lake during May - September. Activities include carrying out wildlife surveys for bumblebees, butterflies & wildflowers. Data you record will help support and inform conservation management decisions on the site. Opportunities to interact with the general public, helping to answer questions about the conservation work carried out by South West Lakes Trust (SWLT). Additionally, you may want to help with the practical management of our wildflower meadow by scything and raking. All training provided.
