Organisation: Exmoor National Park
Info: Providing a welcoming and friendly face to visitors
Closing date: 01/10/2017
As an Ambassador of Exmoor you will be passionate about the area, its special qualities and the range of activities it has to offer to visitors. This role is based in one of our National Park Centres – Lynmouth, Dunster or Dulverton with the exciting opportunity to also volunteer at our events across the National Park, as well as county wide events in Devon and Somerset. Each National Park Centre provides a valuable service to visitors. This is a chance for you to volunteer alongside the existing staff team, meeting and greeting visitors, providing a friendly face and warm welcome. Outside of the National Park Centre there are an array of events, some of which are organised by Exmoor National Park Authority and others organised by outside organisations. This aspect of the Ambassador role would involve setting up the Get Involved Exmoor stand, leaflets and promotional materials on the day of the event, answering questions and sharing your enthusiasm for Exmoor, then helping to clear away. An induction and full training will be given.
