Big Adventure Day fun for all
‘If you go down to the woods….’
On Wednesday 6 June from 10am to 4pm there’s an exciting Big Adventure Day at Nutcombe Bottom* hosted by Exmoor National Park Authority, The Crown Estate and Heart of Exmoor and everyone is welcome. The event is free and no booking is required
There will be a chance to explore Dunster Forest Park, visit the Tallest Tree in England and see the giant forestry machines in action on the ‘Crown Estate Grand Tour’.
National Park Ranger Adam Vasey says: “Last year we had over two hundred and fifty people take part in this free event and this year we’ve got more great games and activities for all the family.
“Get a ‘taste’ for nature and try some wild-foods cooking, build a forest den, watch the live bush craft demonstrations, visit the Tallest Tree in England and explore Dunster Forest on the Crown Estate Grand Tour.
