Tarr Steps official opening

An invitation to the official opening of Tarr Steps

Following the recent repair to Tarr Steps, Somerset County Council is holding an official opening ceremony on Monday 25 February at 12 noon. Guest of honour will be Christopher Cross, Royal Engineers (Retd) who was one of the soldiers involved in the repair of the bridge after the disastrous floods of 1952.

We have been asked to put the Council's invitation on our website so if you are in the area why not come along and witness a little bit of history taking place.
