To continue the provision of a small grants scheme to support landscape Conservation initiatives within the National Park over a 3yr period.

Minehead Shop displays (Minehead Development Trust)

Providing large art works of Exmoor in empty shops. The images, based on Victorian tourism posters, depict local scenes, including within the National Park helping to improve the visual amenity of Minehead caused by empty shops whilst promoting the National Park on its doorstep to potential visitors over the peak season.

Great South West Walk (South West Coast Path Association)

A series of 54 sponsored day walks led by rangers and others to raise awareness of the coastal landscape and cultural qualities whilst raising funds towards Coast Path improvements and raising the profile of the Association and Coast Path.

Exmoor Marketing Phase II (Exmoor Tourism Partnership)

Implementation of years 2 and 3 of the agreed Exmoor Marketing Strategy to promote Greater Exmoor as a leading tourism destination based on quality and sustainable experiences supporting an enhanced economy.

Exmoor Arts (West Somerset Community College)

Inspire and engage a group of 12 young people to create artwork in various media representing the theme of ‘working together for Exmoor’. This will be offered as an extra curricular activity. Artworks to be displayed at National Park Centres and NPA offices with the opportunity to sell some pieces via ~National Park Centres on behalf of the participants.

Exmoor Unplugged transition (Climate Action West)

To evaluate and develop options for taking forward the Exmoor Unplugged (electric bike) project and transfer from CAW as hosts to another local provider, safeguarding significant investment to the area and assets developed. This will be a short term piece of work which may result in future funding applications being submitted to develop the chosen model.

Wild Wellies (Ema Rowe)

To develop 'Wild Wellies' a new business formed within the National Park to deliver combined activities for adults and children to bring them closer to nature incorporating nature walks, crafts and story telling which in turn will help them explore, learn and love nature around them.

Permanent Red Deer Exhibition (Dulverton and District Civic Society)

Creation of a permanent Red Deer Exhibition to raise awareness and understanding of Exmoor’s Red Deer. Costs include building works to accommodate a permanent exhibition within the Dulverton Heritage Centre as well as creation of the new exhibition.

Lyn Leaflet (Lyn Economy and Tourism Alliance)

Publication of a visitor orientation leaflet highlighting what to do in the Lyn area, encouraging people to stay longer and explore further, including National Park information.

Under-grounding of proposed grid connection to Toll Gate Cottage to maintain the scenic landscape quality of the dramatic unobstructed open views from the Porlock Toll road, an important tourist route within the National Park.

Heritage Interpretation and Engagement @ The Pavilion (ENPA)

A suite of projects based at the new Pavilion National Park centre to increase understanding and enjoyment of the unique environment, culture and history of Lynmouth and the wider Exmoor National Park, particularly among new audiences (targeting families and younger people).The project will provide a focal point for local people to explore, celebrate and disseminate local history, culture and their environment.

Placement of a minimum of 36 students’ pa (108 in total) for three years with businesses seeking apprenticeships. It is anticipated that these will lead on to provide a minimum of 36 employment opportunities within the National Park in the land based, Tourism / services / Outdoor recreation / education  and Low Carbon technology sectors.
