Follow the B3222 through Exbridge and Brushford and into Dulverton. On entering Dulverton follow road over the bridge, take the right turn in front of the Chemist. Follow road until you see the Rock House (Oggies Music Shop) which will be directly in front of you before the road bends to the right. Take the very small lane between the Music Shop and the thatched cottage to the left of the pub, lane marked 6’6” gap. Follow narrow lane uphill for half a mile until you see a white gate on your left which is the drive to Hollam House. Keep straight on and follow signs for parking in a field above the house. Parking will be in a field 200 yards above the garden. It’s all steep and a little rough underfoot. Available drop off nearer the house. Please email Annie to arrange. When leaving the garden you will be directed north to avoid meeting cars in the lane up from the village. On the edge of the Exmoor, the sloping garden boasts a wide variety of trees and shrubs. Old ponds, water garden and rill have been restored, - alongside newer pergolas, terraces, meadows and summer house, with roses, perennials, climbers and water-side planting. Not suitable for limited mobility or children.
