Simonsbath Festival concert by New Generation Artist Rebekah Brinkley

Rebekah Brinkley clarinettist, accompanied by pianist Andrew Barlow - Super talented 20-year-old clarinettist Rebekah grew up on Exmoor where her education began at Red Deer Nursery, Simonsbath, and then Exford First School and Dulverton and Minehead Middle schools. She was a music scholar at Blundell’s School in Tiverton where she was awarded her DipABRSM and received full colours for excellence in music during her final year. Rebekah is now in her second year studying Music at Birmingham University where she manages the clarinet choir. She has performed with various ensembles, including the University Philharmonic Orchestra, the University Wind Band, the Somerset County Youth Orchestra and the National Youth Wind Orchestra. Rebekah performs a mixed programme of pieces by Saint-Saëns, Schumann, Finzi, William Lloyd-Webber, James MacMillan and Weber.
