Simonsbath Festival concert by Radio Rio

Vintage Brazilian music from Radio Rio - The samba comes to Simonsbath bringing the sunshine, warmth and irresistible, lilting rhythms of the music of Brazil, performed by this group of accomplished and experienced musicians based in Cornwall. The Radio Rio quartet are inspired by the finest vintage Brazilian music including the samba and bossa nova from the 1930s to the 50s and 60s, featuring flute, accordion, Latin guitar, upright bass and a variety of Latin percussion and vocals. Matt Scott – Classical Latin guitar Lucetta Radcliffe – accordion, flute and vocals Greg Dyer – Latin percussion David Ellis – upright bass Refreshments available and a tasty, savoury snack may be booked in advance for the interval.
