Simonsbath Sawmill Open Day

Date: 18th Feb 2019 10:00am-4:00pm
An opportunity to look around the historic, water-powered sawmill and estate workshops at Simonsbath. Dating from the early 19th century, this group of buildings, set in a beautiful, riverside location in the heart of the national park, were once the hub of activity for a huge country estate. Volunteers lead regular tours of the mill and will tell you about the history of this remarkable area. Tours are free and no booking is necessary but if you are coming especially to see the mill it's advisable to ring 01643 831202 on the day to check that we are open.
