Date: 23rd Jun 2019 2:00pm-5:00pm
As part of the annual Glorious Open Gardens on behalf of St Margaret’s Hospice, Traphole, The Old Mineral Line, Roadwater TA23 0RJ will be open to the public on Sunday 23rd June 2019 between 2.00pm-5.00pm. Opening as part of St. Margaret’s Hospice Glorious Somerset gardens, this large cottage garden contains a wide variety of colourful perennials and old roses. Bordered by a stream, the garden slopes up towards the house and is criss-crossed by busy mixed borders, both in full sun and dappled shade. The old stone walls and paths add further interest to this long established garden. Refreshments on sale, but regret no dogs or WC (amenities in village). Directions : Go past the shop on your left in Roadwater and look for a well-signed, very narrow turning to the left immediately beyond Watersmeet Close. If you get to The Valiant Soldier you’ve gone too far! Follow narrow lane for 100 yards and bear right down The Mineral Line. Traphole is the 2nd house on the right after half a mile, parking on the lane. Entry price £2.50 For further details phone Susan Bickle on 01935 709182 or email susan.bickle@st-margarets-hospice.org.uk
