Date: 8th Mar 2018 7:30pm
Dulverton’s 150 metre long weir stretches diagonally across the river and diverts water to the mill leat that flows through the town. It is considered to be “one of the best preserved urban watermill landscapes of medieval origin in England”. This talk by Peter Romain is about the history and development of this fascinating structure.
