The Six Wives of Henry VIII

Date: 3rd Nov 2017 7:30pm
Porlock Village Hall proudly hosts a visit from the Living Spit Theatre Company with their comedy presentation, in conjunction with Take ARt, "" The Six Wives of Henry Vlll. "" Two Actors. Too Many Characters. Howard Coggins looks like Henry VIII. There's no escaping that. Stu McLoughlin doesn't look like any of the wives, but he's going to give it a go. Living Spit was an undisputed hit at the Bristol Old Vic, Salisbury Playhouse and the Edinburgh Fringe, with live original music, embroidery, Barbie dolls, silly songs and historical hysteria, this performance to be an ill-researched lesson in cross-dressing Tudor history that you'll never forget. Bar and Door open from 7pm. Reserved seating and door tickets £10, early bird ( before 1st Nov) , students and concessions £8, from Porlock Visitor Centre, 01643 863150,
