Temporary Path Closures
Closure at Codsend, Cutcombe (Public Bridleway WL6/8)
Please take note Public Bridleway WL6/8, Cutcombe will be closed for HORSE RIDERS for 21 days from 17th April 2018 due to concerns for public safety due to a collapsed parapet wall on bridge. The route is open for walkers and cyclists with caution.
Closure between Whitefield Bridge and Lower Hall, Brayford (Public Footpath 8)
Please take note Public Footpath 8, Brayford will be closed for a further 21 days continuing on from 30th March 2018 due to concerns for public safety due to a damaged bridge. An alternative route is available, please see closure notice for more details.
Longer Term Path Closures
Sillery Sands, Lynton & Lynmouth (Public Footpath LYN 24)
Closure until 16th July 2018.
Permanent Path Closures
Auntie's Path (near Watersmeet) Unfortunately, severe undermining by a landslip has made it necessary to close indefinitely the permitted path.
Porlock Shingle Ridge is impassable due to the breach. Do not attempt to cross, even at low water. Follow local signs from Bossington to Porlock Weir.
