EXMOOR NATIONAL PARK MANAGEMENT PLAN
The Exmoor National Park Management Plan is a 5-year policy plan for Exmoor. The Plan shows how the statutory purposes of National Parks will be achieved on Exmoor. These purposes are:
To conserve and enhance the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of the National Parks
To promote opportunities for the understanding and enjoyment of the special qualities of the Parks by the public.

EXMOOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT FUND: A brand new fund has been set up to provide grants for “green” projects on Exmoor. Each of the National Parks in England has been given £125,000 by the Government to provide grant aid to develop innovative and sustainable new projects. The fund will be available to anyone who has an idea which specifically promotes greener living in the countryside, and also meet National Park purposes. To view further details please refer to our press releases or our specific page on the sustainable development fund.

Advice on Viewing / Downloading Files

If you do not have this software then click on the logo for a free download. Below is a brief guide to viewing/downloading the reports that follow.
To View a Report
To automatically view a report you will require Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Click on the appropriate report hyperlink. (This will then begin a process of downloading the report into either the Internet browser itself for viewing or load up adobe acrobat reader independently for viewing.) (It is important to consider the reports file size as this has a direct bearing on the time taken to complete the download process).
Once the report has downloaded and is viewable it can, if necessary, be saved using the "File > Save" option or alternatively by selecting an icon such as this >
To Download / Save a Report (Recommended Approach)
Right-hand click on the hyperlink and select "Save Target As...".
Select the appropriate location you wish to save the Report (*.PDF) file to i.e. C:\My Documents.
Click on the "Save" button.
The file should then begin downloading. (It is important to consider the reports file size as this has a direct bearing on the time taken to complete the download process).
Once complete it is then possible to view the Report (*.PDF) using Adobe Acrobat Reader.
