Planning Applications Map

Please note that these maps are intended for identification purposes only and should not be submitted for planning applications or any other scaling or official documentation.

The Authority's Online Planning Service enables you to inspect current planning applications, including the application forms and drawings submitted by the Applicant, and then comment on the applications online

The interactive map displays the National Park with main settlements, roads and all Planning Applications shown in red. The map scale can be altered by using the plus and minus buttons. If a button is chosen it will turn red. Next, click on the region of the map you wish to enlarge. The map view can be repositioned using the directional arrows around the edge of the map.

Placenames or postcodes can be used to change the map display in addition to the navigation buttons. Simply type in the placename or postcode in the search box and press Go This will move the map to the required settlement or postcode

The application reference if known (eg 6/13/07/102) can alternatively be used to change the map display. Simply press the drop down arrow next to the word Places, choose Planning Applications, fill in the search box with the application reference and press Go

Once the desired planning application is displayed on screen the application forms and drawings submitted by the applicant can be viewed by pressing the info button and choosing the relevant hyperlink from the on screen list.  

Please note that you can only link to planning applications back to 2001 and only applications post December 2005 will have attachments. Links therefore will be available for all planning application where the third set of numbers is greater or equal to 01 (eg. 6/9/07/101) Help with planning application numbers
