The Dunster Working Group, which is co-ordinated by the Exmoor National Park Authority and includes Dunster Parish Council and local organisations has now published a draft Plan for the village and is asking the public for its comments. The Dunster Action Plan sets out proposals for conserving the historic character, making it more attractive to visitors, under-pinning the viability of shops and other businesses and improving conditions for local residents.
