NATIONAL PARK CENTRES GIVE SATISFACTION
National Park Centres run by the Exmoor National Park Authority continue to provide and excellent service for the public a recent survey reveals.
In the survey carried out during 2005 the average ‘user satisfaction rating’ for the 5 Centres in the network was in excess of 97%.
“Comparable surveys over the last 5 years have shown a steady increase in levels of customer satisfaction“, said Tim Braund, Head of Education and Interpretation for the National Park Authority.
“This excellent performance is mainly down to the staff teams that work in the Centres. They are able and willing to share their encyclopedic knowledge of Exmoor and their enthusiasm for the special qualities of the National Park. This is invariably done with a welcoming smile for both visitors and the local community”, he continued. “Every inquiry is unique to that person and the staff give a personal service, if they don’t know the answer themselves, they’re sure to know someone who does”.
The National Park Centres are a focal point to help people understand and enjoy the best of what Exmoor National Park has to offer. There are centres at Combe Martin, Blackmoor Gate, County Gate, Dunster and Dulverton and are during the main summer season. Additionally, Dulverton is open in the winter daily from 10.30am to 3pm.
