PLANNING HELP FOR PORLOCK RESIDENTS

Residents of Porlock are able to have ready access to a planning officer thanks to Exmoor National Park Authority’s planning surgery held every Monday morning.

The surgery is held at the Lady Lovelace Centre in The Old School, Porlock from 10am to 12 noon. A planning officer is on hand to answer questions and, if notified in advance (telephone number 01398 322 259), copies of current planning applications can be taken over for people to view. Senior Planning Officer Helen Brosnan said: “We hope that by offering people this face to face service in Porlock it will save them having to come over to Dulverton.”
