Enhancing the qualities that make Exmoor special

Exmoor is designated a National Park for the following statutory purposes:

  • To conserve and enhance the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of the National Parks
  • To promote opportunities for the understanding and enjoyment of the special qualities of the Parks by the public.

The Plan is for all who care about Exmoor, the place, its communities and the benefits the National Park provides to the nation.
