Exmoor National Park has some great travel and transport links with the rest of the UK and beyond and several options to give your car a holiday.

Arriving by Train
The mainline great Western railway skirts south of Exmoor. Taunton and Tiverton Parkway are ideally placed to link with other transport services to Exmoor including numerous bus routes, and a bus connection to the West Somerset Railway line from Taunton.
To the West of Exmoor the Tarka Line runs from Exeter to Barnstaple, which is also linked by buses to Exmoor.

Arriving by Coach
National Express Coaches call at Tiverton, Minehead, Barnstaple and Taunton from all over the UK. Connecting local bus services are available for your onward journey into the National Park.
Arriving by Road
Exmoor is easily accessible by road from the M5. From junction 27 follow the North Devon Link road (A361) to Tiverton and turn right at the first roundabout to join the A£96 – follow this road as it winds its way up the Exe Valley before turning left at Exebridge, following signs to Dulverton. You can also access Exmoor by leaving the M5 at junction 25 and following theA358 and A39 to the North East of the Park. For access to the north west of the Park the A39 from Barnstaple enters the Park at Blackmoor Gate and continues along the north coast of Exmoor. <If possible please provide a link to either a google map page, or internal GIS map of the area>
Arriving by Air
For international visitors Exmoor is best served by international airports at Exeter and Bristol. Exeter International is well connected by a regular bus service to Exeter city centre where you can either catch a further bus to Tiverton, and then on to Dulverton in the south of the Park or you can use the Tarka Rail Line to reach Barnstaple and bus connections to the north west of the Park. From Bristol International buses are available to the mainline railway (see above) to Taunton or Tiverton.
