The National Park Centre at Dulverton is part of a large partnership complex housing exhibitions about the heritage of Dulverton, the importance of the surrounding woodlands and an art gallery and library. It is located in the main square in the town, adjacent to a large public car park (pay & display) and a variety of shops and services.

Knowledgeable staff will assist you to make the most of your stay. Hands on informative displays with a woodland theme link the Centre with the heritage centre, which houses displays and artefacts about the heritage of Dulverton. Exhibitions by local artists are regularly on view in the Gallery. Stay a while and view a video about the National Park.

A self service/selection accommodation board is available, and public transport information for the towns of Tiverton, Taunton, Barnstaple and Minehead is to hand. Local walks link with buses to Brushford, Brompton Regis and Winsford – why not leave the car behind and enjoy a day out and about. Our free transport guide is available from the centre.

A self guided walk around Dulverton (leaflet available from the centre) will reveal places of historical interest and locations used in the major film ‘Land Girls’.

A range of publications and goods for sale is available from the centre – a postal service is also available to provide information before you arrive in the area. Please phone or e mail to order. Major credit cards accepted.
