Flood Disaster

The East and West Lyn Rivers, that join together and meet the sea at Lynmouth, begin their journey on the wild moorland ridge known as The Chains. This high ground is the watershed between the Lyn rivers and their tributaries flowing north to the Bristol Channel and rivers such as the Barle and Exe that flow to the south and west and eventually join the English Channel.
