Park Life Questionnaire
A questionnaire on key planning issues on pages 11 and 12 of the November 2009 edition of Park Life. Park Life is a newspaper published on behalf of Exmoor National Park Authority and delivered throughout the National Park. The feedback from this questionnaire will help inform 'Your Future Exmoor' – a new planning document for Exmoor National Park. Please return completed questionnaires by 8th January 2010. We also look forward to hearing local communities' views at forthcoming community consultation events which will be publicised shortly.
Call for Affordable Housing Sites -Deadline extended to 4th December 2009
We are undertaking a Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA) to identify new potential sites for affordable housing for people with a local connection. As a key part of the SHLAA, the public is invited to propose sites - including land or buildings - that may have the potential to deliver affordable housing for local communities within the next 15 years.
Rights of Way Improvement Plan (RoWIP) update - consultation closes 31st August 2010
In 2005, Exmoor National Park Authority produced a RoWIP chapter which is contained within the Devon and Somerset County Council’s RoWIP. The Exmoor chapter contains policies and actions that were developed to improve the way the public rights of way network and access on Exmoor is managed and promoted by the National Park Authority. We are now reviewing the progress made on the actions from this RoWIP chapter and suggesting some revisions to these actions. Please click here to make a comment on this document.
