We welcome all visitors to our centres to find out more about the Exmoor National Park. Informative displays, maps, publications and specialist knowledge are all available to assist you to understand and enjoy the Exmoor area, and enhance your visit.

Our centres are conveniently located for visitors to the National Park and can be found in:

Dunster, Dulverton and Lynmouth . Each has displays related to the locality and a variety of information is available. A programme of Exmoor National Park Authority events incorporating guided walks is offered throughout the year - the monthly events and walks list is freely available. For more information about things to see and do in the area, and informative articles about the National Park, pick up a free copy of the Exmoor Visitor newspaper. Our staff will be pleased to advise and to help you get the most from your stay.

There are also Networked Tourist Information Centres throughout the greater Exmoor area and an independent Visitor Centre located at Porlock, all of which offer accommodation booking services.

All three Centres are now open from 10.00 am to 17.00 pm untill the end of October

(NB some Centres may close from 13.15 to 13.45 for lunch)

Romans at Dunster

During May, June and July  visitors will have a chance to Explore Exmoor's Roman past at Dunster National Park Centre. The exhibition "Isca and Beyond has been produced by the Royal Albert Memorial Museum in Exeter. Entry is during normal opening hours and is free.

On the 16th May - there will be a chance to meet a real Roman soldier (11.00 to 15.00)
