Hours: Path Parers will carry out activities on a flexible, self-led basis. Committing to undertake a minimum of 5 days in the role per year.
Exmoor National Park’s Ranger team are looking for volunteers to help maintain Exmoor’s walking and riding routes. to recruit volunteers who love their local area and can help maintain the paths and keep them accessible. Paring being the name we give to clearing overgrown vegetation from paths.Please get in touch if you are willing to help pare a local path. You could either do this by yourself or set up a small team. We will provide support and training, loan tools including hedge trimmers and provide all necessary personal protective equipment. This is a seasonal role (late-spring – summer). To start 2024. See the attached role description for further information.
