Free fun at North Hill BIG Adventure Day

Celebrate the end of the summer holidays with a fun day out at the BIG Adventure Day being hosted by Exmoor National Park Authority and the Heart of Exmoor Scheme.
The free, family event is on Saturday 31 August at North Hill above Minehead.
There will be chance to see a parade of World War II vintage military vehicles and learn about the hidden history of North Hill, including the old radar station which will be open to the public especially for this event.
People will also be able to have a go at the orienteering challenge and take part in the usual family friendly games and activities. Go eco with the Wild Curiosities Corner and the Conservation Task.
National Park Ranger Adam Vasey says: "The Big Adventures are a great free family day out and we always get a fantastic turn out. The North Hill Big Adventure should be as good as ever with military vehicle displays, guided walks and nature detective activities. If you haven't been to an event before then I'd urge you to come along and try it out."
A limited number of Tramper all-terrain mobility buggies will be available for hire at this event for free. For more details contact Countryside Mobility on 01392 459222 info@countrysidemobility.org or visit www.countrysidemobility.org
North Hill is signed from Minehead High Street and there will be Big Adventure Days signs on the day.
