A history of Woody Bay

Date: 5th Aug 2022 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
An exploration of the history and beauty of Woody Bay, stopping to admire the various views en route. Harriet Bridle, a local resident and author, first wrote ‘Woody Bay’ in 1991 a quirky history of the Bay, its surrounds and the people living in it. From car crashes, to failed piers, local characters to Roman influences, Woody Bay has a wealth of interesting history to discover.
A gentle stroll but some steep terrain.
