Around the Chains: moorland archaeology walk
Date: 30th Jun 2022 10:30 am - 4:00 pm
Join two Exmoor National Park staff for an exploration of the archaeology of the high moorland around the Chains. This is a challenging foray that will reveal the 'archaeological treasure house' of our moorland which stretches across four millennia; our walk will reveal how people have shaped, and been shaped by, this harsh upland environment.
(Our exact route will be adapted to weather conditions nearer the time).
Suitable for children over 12 years.
Dogs welcome as long as kept on lead.
