Dark Skies Discovery Hub at Exford - Indoor Planetarium Presentation with Food & Optional Night Walk

In collaboration with Exmoor National Park we have got together with Bruce and Claire at the Exford Bridge Tearooms so we can cater for larger groups, stargazing parties and corporate events. Every Tuesday night at 7.00pm summer, (6.00pm start in winter), we will be open for an indoor planetarium presentation with delicious food and a “No question is a silly question” sociable chat session. The indoor event is followed by an optional shortish walk out into the dark sky reserve to try out tablet and phone apps and to watch the stars come out, depending on the time of year. This is suitable for all ages, individuals and small groups, and a good option if you are less keen on walking, or the weather is not good! Otherwise please make contact and we can chat about any sort of starry event that you can dream up! We have 3 telescopes, a laser pointer for constellations, binoculars and loads of information about local stargazing. Endless enthusiasm plus the tearooms are fully licenced and happy to cater for your “Do”, from cream teas through barbecues to a “just desserts” evening.
