Dunster Early fabric display and guided walks

Dunster Early Fabric group have been researching the medieval buildings of Dunster. The event will include displays, the unveiling of a model hall house and guided walks to some of the most interesting buildings that the group has surveyed. Dunster is one of the best preserved medieval villages in the country and a Historic England funded research group, the Dunster Early Fabric group, has been shedding new light on many of the buildings. This event will show off some of the groups findings that include roof structures dating back to the 13th century. The group has also built an accurate scale model of a medieval open hall house which will be unveiled. There will be guided walks around Dunster looking at some of these buildings and a chance to look around one of the best preserved privately owned buildings in the town.
