Heritage Exmoor Pony Festival - Afternoon Workshop Connecting with Exmoor Ponies & Yourself

Date: 13th Jul 2019 2:00pm-5:30pm
Connecting with Exmoor ponies and Yourself with Dawn Westcott, co-founder of the Exmoor Pony Project, author of the Wild Pony Whispering books and Reiki Master. Mental wellbeing is vitally important for us all. Discover more about yourself and how to reach a place of peaceful mindfulness and inner calm, through meeting and connecting with the amazing Exmoor ponies, in our breathtakingly beautiful Exmoor National Park farm setting. This fascinating afternoon workshop will include an introduction to the ancient Exmoor pony breed and explore how we can release the stresses of everyday life and become more mindful, self aware and focused on the present moment. We'll then meet the Exmoor ponies for an observation and connection session and begin to understand the clarity and power of our core energy, from a place of mindful focus and presence. We'll conclude with reflection and optional discussion over tea, coffee and cakes. (No equine experience or pony handling necessary). Clothing: This is a working farm so please wear appropriate clothing and robust footwear. To Book: Please email - or telephone 01643 862 466 (Advance booking only as places are limited) More info at
