Introduction to Wild Foraging

A 1.5 hour Introduction to Wild Foraging around the Watersmeet Valley, Lynmouth Sessions starting 10.00am, 12.00pm and 2.00pm Join Liz for a 1.5hr introduction to wild foraging on a gentle 500m stroll beside the East Lyn Valley this September. Starting with the 'Golden Rules of Foraging', you will then learn how to identify up to 15 wild herbs, fruits, nuts and fungi around the wooded riverside setting. As well as harvesting and trying wild food, you'll be treated with some special jams and syrups made from real wild food, on oatcakes - divine! Afterwards, you'll have the chance to purchase some jam and a pocket Food for Free Guide Well-behaved dogs on leads welcome. Not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs Parking: Watersmeet Rd Pay & Display car park, followed by 5 MINUTE ZIG ZAG WALK DOWN to the tea room OR Combe Park donation parking, EX35 6LE, followed by 20 MINUTE WALK to the tea room via bridleway.
