Porlock Vale Great British Beach Clean

Date: 25th Sep 2021 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Come along and help with a mass litter pick on Porlock Beach. This is part of the Marine Conservation Society's Great British Beach Clean week and the Severn Estuary Big Beach Clean. This event is being run by Plastic Free Porlock Vale. We will be doing a detailed survey of different types of litter on a small stretch of beach (counting and weighing!) to add to MCS national database, as well as a general beach clean. Also a chance to find out about, share ideas and get involved in the Plastic Free Porlock Vale campaign. Help us keep our status as a Surfers Against Sewage Plastic Free Community ! Bring garden gloves and hand sanitiser. We will provide litter pickers and sacks (but please bring your own if you have them).
