St. Margaret’s Hospice Great Somerset Memory Walk – Coastal Challenge

Date: 15th Sep 2019 8:00am-6:00pm
Join us for our new coastal challenge and remember someone special as you walk along the tranquil West Somerset Coastal Path. We’ll set off from Butlins, Minehead, with a choice of walking 12.4 miles to West Quantoxhead or 25 miles to Steart Marshes. Start: 15th September, 2019 at 8:00am End: 15th September, 2019 at 6:00pm Location: Butlins, Warren Road, Minehead, TA24 5SH While enjoying the stunning scenery, many of our sponsored walkers will be celebrating the life of a loved one, as we will be offering everyone a bib to decorate with their own personal dedication message. You’re equally welcome to come along if you just want to enjoy the walk. Buses back to the start are included in the entry fee of just £15 for adults and £10 for children under 16. You are very welcome to bring your dogs to walk with you, but please keep your four-legged friends on a lead and clear up after them. Walkers can set off between 8am and 9am. Those wishing to complete the full route must check in at the halfway point (West Quantoxhead) by 1pm. All entrants must complete the course by 6pm and check in at the finish line. The entrance fee covers the cost of this event, so we're hoping all our wonderful walkers will also raise sponsorship, to ensure over 3,800 people every year will get the care and support from St. Margaret's they need. Adult: £15 Child: £10 Notes: Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult registered to take part in the event. We recommend that children under the age of 12 do not take part in this event. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Full terms and Conditions available via the below link.
