National Park Centres are the ideal place to find out more about the Exmoor National Park and get the best out of any visit . Informative displays, maps, publications and specialist knowledge are all available. Entry is FREE to all National Park Centres.
Our centres are conveniently located for visitors to the National Park and can be found in Dulverton, Dunster and Lynmouth. Each has displays related to the locality and a variety of information is available. A programme of Exmoor National Park Authority events incorporating guided walks is offered throughout the year - the monthly events and walks list is freely available. For more information about things to see and do in the area, and informative articles about the National Park, pick up a free copy of the Exmoor Visitor newspaper. Our staff will be pleased to advise and to help you get the most from your stay.
Why not hire a telescope to explore Exmoor's amazing dark skies?
Telescopes can be hired from the 3 Exmoor National Park Centres (Dulverton, Dunster and Lynmouth) which you then take out yourself onto Exmoor to see the stars. £25.00 cost of hire for a night, £10.00 cost for any additional nights, £100 deposit (which is refunded). We are currently implementing a 72 hour period between hire in order to clean and isolate the equipment due to the Corona Virus.Contact your nearest Centre to book in advance.
