Enjoy the feel of tarmac under your wheels? With panoramic views and steep valleys to climb, Exmoor has some of the best variety of road riding in the country. There are routes available for all abilities. If you want to enjoy the network of quiet country lanes, or climb the 1705 ft to the highest point at Dunkery, there is something for everyone.

There are some great national routes that utilise just some of what Exmoor has to offer. You can find information on the West Country Way that links up Bristol and Lands End, as well as other routes for the South West on the Sustrans website. We also have a number of active and enthusiastic cycling clubs in and around Exmoor. They are a useful point of contact for local knowledge of some of the best routes and hidden gems:
