About the Valley of Rocks

Lynmouth is one of the most popular destinations in the National Park. Its spectacular setting is at the mouths of the wooded gorges of the East and West Lyn rivers, hemmed in by gigantic cliffs.  The Valley of Rocks is to the west of Lynton and is arguably the most spectacular scenic location on Exmoor. It is reached by an easy walk from Lynmouth, as is the River Lyn. This site provides a wonderful comparison with the Moorland Classroom site of Allerford.
