Tourism in Exmoor National Park

Every year Exmoor National Park welcomes over 2 million visitors, attracted by the wide ranging special qualities of natural beauty, wildlife cultural heritage and the varied recreational opportunities afforded to visitors. It is estimated that tourism on Exmoor brings in almost £135m to the economy and creates the equivalent of over 2000 full time jobs (approximately two-thirds of all employment within Exmoor). This section is designed to provide information and support to those working within the tourism industry within the National Park.

CareMoor for Exmoor - Business Champions and Supporters

CareMoor for Exmoor is the official fundraising scheme for the National Park supporting conservation and access projects that wouldn't otherwise happen. Tourism providers are invited to work with us to raise funds through voluntary donations. Those that are actively supporting CareMoor for Exmoor can benefit from a stronger association with the National Park and supporting marketing. Eat Exmoor

Local food is part of the Exmoor story. Through the Eat Exmoor project, we are fostering great links between producers, hospitality providers and visitors to increase the value of food and drink to the local economy. We encourage local businesses to make use of the fantastic local produce we have here, helping Exmoor become known as a great food destination. Visit Exmoor

Visit Exmoor is the main area wide body responsible for tourism in the area. It is led by the industry with over 200 members from across the Greater Exmoor area, and is supported by the  National Park Authority as the primary marketing organisation for the area..
