Visit Exmoor is the main area wide body responsible for tourism in the area. It is led by the industry with over 200 members from across the Greater Exmoor area. Members vote for the committee each year, with an additional two places filled by West Somerset Council and Exmoor National Park Authority Members (nominated by their organisations). Officers from WSC and ENPA act as advisors and work alongside the board. The organisation is primarily funded by its members and uses this to match fund grants as and when opportunities arise. Any business that benefits from tourism within the Greater Exmoor area is encouraged to join.

COVID-19 will continue to have a significant impact on our Exmoor Tourism Economy. At Visit Exmoor we are focusing on how we can best support ALL tourism and visitor related businesses across Exmoor and its surrounding areas through this period and ensure that all businesses have the ability to be linked to the work that is being done on the Exmoor Tourism Recovery Plan. This is why Visit Exmoor have launched this program.
As an Associate Member,  we will provide you with access to consistent business support details.  We will communicate with you regularly and ensure you are connected to our initiatives and feel welcome to participate in our Visit Exmoor themes and campaigns.

A number of smaller local groups operate in the area and all groups are working together with Visit Exmoor and Exmoor National Park Authority towards tourism recovery and the promotion of Exmoor.
