Have your say on the draft Wootton Ridge Management Plan 2024-34.

Following an extensive 1st stage of public consultation undertaken in 2023, the landowners of Wootton Ridge (including parts of Wootton Courtenay, Hopcott Common, Alcombe Common, and Grabbist Hill) have produced a draft 10-year management plan for the ridge’s open areas. The draft plan aims to join up and improve the management of these areas for people and wildlife, and the landowners are keen to receive feedback on the plan from site users and other interested parties. This includes people and organisations who value the site as an important greenspace or have a specialist interest in its wildlife, history, status as common land, or other features.

The full draft management plan, as well as a shorter summary document, can be accessed below. A report detailing the results of the 1st stage of consultation, which has informed production of the draft plan, is also accessible below.

Please use this online comments form to register any thoughts you may have regarding the draft management plan.

The consultation period ends on Friday 8th March 2024
