Contributions to CareMoor help provide better habitats and homes for wildlife, protection for our heritage and repairs that keep our paths network open for all.
Hundreds of thousands of pounds have been raised over the years thanks to the generosity of CareMoor Supporters and Champions. A huge thank you to everyone that has contributed in any way. Below is a selection of the important access and conservation projects that have been supported by CareMoor.
Managing the scheme in-house keeps costs to a minimum, meaning donations from anyone inspired by Exmoor go directly to the upkeep of Exmoor National Park.
By kind permission of the landowners a new permissive bridleway between Pittcombe Head and the Culbone Inn has been created to take walkers and riders off of the A39.

A new tree nursery has been established adjacent to the National Park Authority's depot in Exford to increase the supply of native trees.

Over £1,800 was raised via Co-Op shoppers enabling the next generation to develop skills to look after special places like Exmoor.

CareMoor has provided materials and funding support for volunteer led work to restore and maintain the iconic historical signposts seen across the moor.

In one of the largest CareMoor appeals to date over £70,000 was raised with the Lyn Communtiy Development Trust for a new bridge over the East Lyn River in Lynton.

CareMoor support helped funds new signposts for the walking routes in and around Exmoor's popular Snowdrop Valley, which runs each February.

Survey work in 2001 revealed the existence of a forgotten garden at Ashcombe, Simonsbath. CareMoor support has helped provide plants, and trees to support the work of volunteers in restoring the gardens.

Tivington Knowle footbridge is a small bridge supported through some of the funds raised for CareMoor by the Samworth Brothers Charity Challenge held on Exmoor in 2019.
