Wildlife Rich Habitat Funding
Are you a land manager with big ambitions and have land available for wider scope projects?
For 26-27 Defra have allocated a budget to National Parks and National Landscape to deliver projects that create larger scale wildlife rich or priority habitats. This will be also delivered through the FiPL team, but with different criteria.
To be eligible for this funding you must be delivering actions that lead to the creation of wildlife rich habitat outside of SSSI’s and other protected sites. All project work must be completed by 31/03/2027.
If you are interested in this funding, please contact the FiPL team in the first instance via conservation@exmoor-nationalpark.gov.uk and please read both the FiPL Guidance for Applicants and the Wildlife Rich Habitat Funding (WRHF) Guidance. You will need to complete an application form and cost table and include a site plan, location map and if possible a QGIS shapefile of the location.
