Ten Large Parkland Trees available for dedications in the heart of Exmoor
Wood pasture provides shelter, pasture and fodder for livestock as well as a haven for native species find out more and arrange your tree dedication
Ten large parkland trees are available for dedications in Simonsbath. These will add to the 20 already planted over the last few years, to help develop a more extensive wood-pasture habitat over a wider landscape.
Exmoor National Park is offering the chance to sponsor one of ten new parkland trees being planted in Simonsbath in early 2026. The planting area, shown on the map below, will feature three iconic species: Sessile Oak, which can live for centuries and grow up to 40m tall; Scots Pine, a towering native conifer with high ecological value; and Small-leaved Lime, admired for its fragrant flowers and ability to support wildlife.
For a £995 donation, a tree can be dedicated as a lasting tribute or to mark a special occasion. Each tree will be protected by a hand-crafted chestnut guard, fitted with a personalised bronze plaque. Supporters will also receive a certificate of dedication and a map showing their tree’s location.
This special opportunity contributes directly to CareMoor for Exmoor, supporting both the planting of these ten landmark trees and wider conservation work across the National Park.
