What do you love about Exmoor?

I love the variety of the landscape, and the quaint, quiet villages. Exmoor has a warmth to it, that rain or shine is comforting and feels like home. There is such a variety of outdoor activities to do on Exmoor. My favourite thing about Exmoor is its deep plunge pools for swimming, there is a particular spot that I love walking to, swimming and then heading to the pub for a roast!

What is one issue or topic you care about?

I care about protecting the rural landscape and reducing the negative environmental impacts of tourism and visitor pressure in the area.

Can you share a nature-based moment in your life that is memorable to you?

I have many memorable moments in nature that are special to me, I am always outdoors and thrive in outdoor environments, so it is impossible to pick just one! That being said, my most memorable moment on Exmoor has been camping in Doone Valley with my family, where I spent weekends without signal just enjoying the environment around me, swimming, hiking and exploring!

What do you hope to see/do/change in your role on the Youth Board?

Engage more local youngsters in nature, through social media and engagement activities, and act as a voice for change, for young people in the area.
