Bushcraft at Calvert Devon
An extra special bushcraft session
Unleash your inner explorer! Craft, forage, build shelters, and make friends in nature’s playground.
Because nothing says ‘outdoor adventure’ more than roasting marshmallows over a campfire.
22nd November only – come and get involved!
Your group will begin the tasks given by your instructor
This can involve active tasks like collecting natural materials and crafting tools to build shelters
Tasks can also be sensory-based, like listening for sounds, touching materials or looking for specific flowers or critters
If appropriate for the group, you may move to the land around Wistlandpound Reservoir
Every bushcraft session involves lighting the campfire for some tasty cooked marshmallows and warm drinks, whilst telling stories or even singing songs around the fire

Weekend Climbing and Abseiling Adventures in Devon

We’re hosting set dates to enjoy one of our most popular activity sessions.
Join us as a family, a group of friends, or an individual to mix with like-minded people and make new friends!
Abseiling
Feel the rush as you ascend and descend a purpose-built abseil wall, and push yourself further with various levels of difficulty.
With specialist harnesses and expert support, these gravity-defying experiences are designed for confidence-building and pure adrenaline. They are accessible for all abilities, including wheelchair users.

Whether scaling our indoor wall or heading outdoors to test your limits, climbing at Calvert Devon is all about determination, encouragement, and fun. Adaptive equipment and skilled instructors make it achievable for everyone.
