The Yarn Market Hotel in Dunster, based within Exmoor National Park is hosting a Christmas break on a full board basis, including a traditional Christmas lunch and gala dinners.

Also during the break there is a programme of quizzes and activities, or simply relax and enjoy a stroll around the medieval village and see the shops windows decorated for Christmas, or take a longer walk on any of the well waymarked footpaths leading from the village.

Wistlandpound Reservoir, near Blackmoor Gate in North Devon, is the perfect setting with its rugged scenery and fresh air. This is a chance to embrace the elements and be an adventurer, because horse-riding in nature is always a rejuvenating and thrilling experience, whatever the weather.

A chance to meet and greet the horses, ponies and donkeys living at Calvert Devon before mounting and getting to know your steed
