There’s no better way to get into the Christmas spirit this December than tinsel, festive cheer, mince pies, and horse-riding through the countryside.

Wistlandpound Reservoir, near Blackmoor Gate in North Devon, is the perfect setting with its rugged scenery and fresh air. This is a chance to embrace the elements and be an adventurer, because horse-riding in nature is always a rejuvenating and thrilling experience, whatever the weather.

What’s included?

A chance to meet and greet the horses, ponies and donkeys living at Calvert Devon before mounting and getting to know your steed

1-hour ride from the stables to Wistlandpound Reservoir, following the winding paths along the water’s edge and through the pine trees

A 3 night break between Christmas and the New Year to enjoy Dinner Bed and Breakfast and including admission to two West Country attractions, choose from Dunster Castle and Gardens, The West Somerset Railway, Exmoor Zoo, Eden Project, SS Great Britain, RNAS Yeovilton, RHS Rosemoor, The Tank Museum, National Marine Aquarium or Longleat (transport to the attractions is not included).
