The Book of Birds - A Field Guide to Wonder & Loss
Join renowned illustrator, Jackie Morris, on International Dawn Chorus Day as she celebrates seven years collaborating with Robert Macfarlane to produce their dazzling field guide to British birdlife.
From Dipper to Dunnock and Kestrel to Kingfisher, from mountain to ocean and city to river, Jackie and Robert conjure the unique spirit and lifeway of each species. This is a book that will be treasured by bird-lovers of all ages, and a future classic work of reference.
We are thrilled that Jackie is able to lead this quiet, contemplative walk, listening to birdsong ahead of the book’s highly anticipated publication on the 7th of May.
The walk will be followed by a hearty breakfast and book signing opportunity - we do hope you are able to join us.
